Power and Energy Systems Area

Each year, a number of student awards and scholarships are provided by the Power and Energy Systems Area.  More than $250,000 was awarded during 2003-04.  Graduating seniors are considered for Grainger Awards, for the Paul Egbert Award, for the E. I. Berthold Awards, and for a number of other awards.  Scholarships in amounts ranging from $500 to $2,000 are provided through generous support of various sponsors.  Most scholarships are intended for sophomores and juniors, although freshmen and seniors are eligible for some of these.

How to get chosen?  The most important thing is to apply!  An application form is stored in PDF form here, and in Word format here.   Please fill it out, attach a resume or placement office data sheet, and then return to room 335 Everitt Lab.  You are encouraged to apply by September 30 each year for full consideration on all Fall awards and by January 31 each year for full consideration on all Spring awards..
